Yoga Nidra: The Art of Deep Rest and Relaxation with Peggy Burt

Yoga Nidra: The Art of Deep Rest and Relaxation with Peggy Burt

Saturday, December 2, 2-4:30pm (PST)
In-Studio and Livestream

From the ancient yoga tradition, we embrace yoga nidra as the process of moving into pure consciousness. Yoga nidra is a journey to explore the “space between,” the liminal space between waking and sleeping. The art of yoga nidra, sometimes translated as the “yoga of sleep” is a portal to a state of being that is deeply refreshing. While still awake, the subtle body releases into a place of conscious awareness that renews the spirit. This guided meditation practice calls in the healing and transformative energy of your own body, mind and spirit.
In this workshop, participants will:

~Be guided to experience the state of yoga nidra while resting in a comfortable position

~Experience a number of yoga nidra practices, including learning about the 61 points, to balance subtle energies and increase mental harmony

~Explore some time writing/journaling about the experience and share insights in community

No prior experience required. The practice is the teacher, an avenue to experience and remember who you truly are.

Following the workshop, you’ll receive a link to the recording for 15 days, so you can experience yoga nidra as many times as you want!

Peggy Burt received her Yoga Nidra Certification in 2021 with Tracee Stanley, acclaimed teacher and author of *Radiant Rest: Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation & Awakened Clarity, published by Shambhala Publications, 2021.
