Yoga and the Journey of Grief with John Sovec

Yoga and the Journey of Grief with John Sovec

Saturday, October 17, 2-4pm
In-Studio only

Grief touches the body, mind, heart, and spirit, often leaving us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. Whether we are mourning the loss of a loved one, navigating changes in health, experiencing the end of a relationship, or facing an unexpected life transition, grief can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure of how to move forward. Yet within this tender journey lies the possibility for healing, growth, and transformation.

This nurturing workshop explores how the healing practices of yoga can support us through the journey of grief. Through gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, and guided reflection, participants will learn how grief is held in the body, discover healthy ways to process emotions, and develop practical tools for healing both on and off the mat.
In this workshop, participants will:
~ Discover how grief manifests in the body, mind, and emotions

~Use yoga postures and breath practices to release tension and create space for healing

~Explore gentle meditation and self-reflection techniques to process feelings that arise

~Connect with others in a supportive community of shared understanding

~Learn practical tools and compassionate practices to support healing both on and off the mat

This workshop is open to anyone experiencing loss, transition, or significant life change. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Come as you are, and allow yourself the opportunity to be held, supported, and nurtured as you move through your journey of grief with greater awareness, acceptance, and hope.
