Jill has been practicing yoga since 1989 and teaching since 1996. According to Jill, the beginning and best part of her training was the encouragement of her first teacher to be her apprentice and the influence of her Great Aunt about all aspects of yoga. Jill has taken numerous teacher trainings and certifications over many years with a focus on fundamentals, therapeutic, and prenatal practices. She has studied and trained with such teachers as Shawn Abtahi, Diana Beardsley at Larchmont Center for Yoga (now Yoga Works), Sivananada Ashram in Grass Valley, Kofi Busia, Lisa Walford, Eric Schiffman, Leslie Bogart, Gary Kraftsow, Cheri Clampett, Paul Grilley, Judith Lasater, Lakshmi Voelker, Elisabeth Noble, Candice Garrett, and Colette Crawford.
