A Meditation Workshop with
Saturday, November 23, 2-4:30PM
Every day, think as you wake up: Today I am fortunate to have woken up. I am alive, I have a precious human life. I am not going to waste it.
~The Dalai Lama
In a world full of distractions and wanting, it’s necessary to learn practices to bring your attention to the gifts you have, the abundance that is before
you and the rich/meaningful life you’re living. Whether you are new to mindfulness or have a regular meditation practice you are invited to join us
as we practice in community. Deepen your meditation by adding a Gratitude practice or, if new to meditation, learn more about Mindfulness and Gratitude.
Be present to your life just as it is in this moment, with a sense of kindness and gratitude.Life becomes our curriculum and every situation becomes
an opportunity to give thanks for what arises. We will explore practices that bring our attention to the joy and gratitude in our lives. We will discuss
the brain’s natural negativity bias and how vital it is for us to create our own gratitude practice.
This workshop is an opportunity to cultivate practices that bring awareness of gratitude, appreciation and thanks to ourselves, to others and the world
