A Weight Off Your Shoulders:
Relieve Neck Pain
with Sarah Court
Saturday, February 8
Hours spent at the computer, texting or on the phone take a toll on your spine, and your neck is taking the greatest hit. “Text Neck” is the name given
to this increasingly commonplace repetitive stress disorder that causes neck tension, headaches and, if left unaddressed, can lead to nerve or disc
damage. In this workshop we will release the stranglehold of habitual holding patterns with Therapy Ball self-massage techniques developed specifically
to soften the ropey muscles and thick fascia of the neck and upper back. Learn innovative movement that goes beyond old-fashioned neck stretches, with
dynamic and precise poses designed to return your neck to physiological balance. Leave with proven strategies to better interact with your devices
so that you protect the most valuable technology you have: you!
