Guiding the Path of Practice, our 300-Hour Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification Program , is a comprehensive approach to advancing your practice with your teacher, Farzaneh Noori, Yoga House co-founder and owner, along with Hanna Gilan, Sarah Court, Tatiana Urquiza, Lynn Haskel. New to our faculty for this program are Tias Little, Sheri Clampett and Arturo Peal.

Farzaneh Noori

Farzaneh Noori

Farzaneh Noori, ERYT 500 is the co-founder and owner of Yoga House. She is a certified yoga instructor with over 25 years of practice and has been teaching since 1999 to a broad range of students. In the course of her training, Farzaneh has studied with some of the world’s most highly-regarded yoga teachers. She has received certification in asana, pranayama, anatomy and yoga philosophy from Tias Little; White Lotus Yoga from Ganga White and Tracey Rich; and Yin Yoga from Paul Grilley. In addition, she has studied extensively with Kofi Busia, Julie Gudmestad and Jill Miller. She received a certificate in Therapeutic Yoga from Cheri Clampett, the Founder and Director of the Therapeutic Yoga Training Program. Farzaneh is also a board certified Ayurvedic Health Counceler by NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association).

Hanna Gilan

Hanna Gilan

Hanna Gilan has the experience, skill and knowledge that come from 20 years of yoga practice and 13 years teaching students of all ages and abilities. Hanna has trained, assisted and practiced with some of the world's great Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, and Bhakti teachers. She has completed four certified teacher trainings and three Thai Yoga Massage courses in Thailand. A dedicated and joyful student of Ashtanga Yoga, Hanna practices the complete first and second series as taught by certified teachers of Pattabhi Jois.

Sarah Court

Sarah Court

Sarah Court DPT, e-RYT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Yoga Tune Up® Teacher Trainer, and the creator of Quantum Leap. She teaches public workshops, anatomy for yoga teacher trainings, and trains Yoga Tune Up® teachers worldwide. She developed and teaches her Quantum Leap continuing education program to make sophisticated movement science easy for movement teachers to understand and use with their students. Sarah received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s University. She brings this significant clinical experience to her teaching, attracting clients and students with a desire to move intelligently, regain mobility, or manage chronic conditions. Sarah is an award-winning graduate of Princeton University.

Tatiana Urquiza

Tatiana Urquiza

Tatiana Urquiza, Over the past 30 years Tatiana has received Classical and Tantric Yoga training and certification in philosophy, meditation, pranayama and asana from her excellent teachers and friends, Eric Small, Dona Holleman, Mukunda Stiles, John Friend, Douglas Brooks, Carlos Pomeda and Sally Kempton. She specializes in yoga therapy, using movement, breath and sound to produce growth, insight, healing and transformation, as well as emphasizing the breath, precision, alignment, mindfulness, intuitive skills training and conflict resolution. She also holds a practitioner’s certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time-Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy, with several years training in Buddhist Vipassana Meditation. Tatiana holds an E-RYT 500 certification with the Yoga Alliance.

Lynn Hasel

Lynn Hasel

Lynn Hasel is a Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher-500 and Certified Ayurveda Practitioner. Since 1990, Lynn has been a student of the Meditation Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, under the guidance of Swami Veda Bharati, a disciple of Swami Rama. She continues to learn that slow breathing, slow-moving yoga and meditation help quiet the mind, calm emotions and bring you peace, harmony and joy. Lynn writes health-related blogs posted on her website, ibeginnow.com. She facilitates mini silence retreats (half-day) for stress reduction and rejuvenation.

Cheri Clampett

Cheri Clampett

Cheri Clampett, C-IAYT, ERYT-500 is a certified yoga therapist with over 20 years of teaching experience. She is the director of the Therapeutic Yoga Training Program which she founded in 1998. She has also co-led the Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training and has presented Therapeutic Yoga at the White Lotus Foundation Teacher Training, Beth Israel Medical Center, and the Rusk Institute at NYU Medical Center. As a certified Yoga Therapist, Cheri focuses on the healing aspects of yoga: freeing the body, breath and flow of energy through practicing with awareness, compassion, and love. Cheri is the co-author of the Therapeutic Yoga Kit, published in January 2009 by Inner Traditions.
Arturo Peal

Arturo Peal

Arturo Peal, Founder of Body Studies, has spent over 20 years inspiring and educating yoga teachers, body workers, and movement specialists across the globe through his classes in Anatomy, Kinesiology, and Therapeutic Touch. With a unique gift for translating complex scientific concepts into tangible, applicable teachings for his students, he raises awareness of how their own bodies work. His trainings have been held at world-class training centers including Integral Yoga Institute (NYC), Himalayan Institute (NYC), Yogaville Virginia, City University of New York Graduate Center, White Lotus Foundation (CA), and Mar de Jade (Mexico).

Tias Little

Tias Little

Tias Little has a unique and skillful teaching style, enabling students to find greater depth of understanding and awareness in their practice. His approach is inter-disciplinary, passionate, intelligent, and insightful. Tias synthesizes years of study in classical yoga, Sanskrit, Buddhist studies, Somatic practices, anatomy, massage and trauma healing. Tias began studying the work of B.K.S Iyengar in 1984 and lived in Mysore, India in 1989 studying Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Pattabhi Jois. His teaching includes precision of alignment, anatomical detail and meditative awareness.

Tias is a licensed massage therapist and his somatic studies include in-depth training in cranial-sacral therapy. He is influenced by the work of Ida Rolf, Moshe Feldenkrais and Thomas Hanna. Tias is a long time student of the meditative arts and Buddhist studies beginning with Vipassana and continuing in Tibetan Buddhism and Zen. His teaching style is unique, weaving together poetic metaphor, clear instruction, compassion and humor. Tias earned a Master’s degree in Eastern Philosophy from St. John’s College Santa Fe in 1998.
